Beginnings

From the time he was a little boy music was playing inside his head. People noticed that he was always humming which earned him the nickname of Hummer.

Starting with  trombone in the 4th grade, his own dixieland band in 8th, Symphonic, Stage and Marching band in High school where he was elected "Most Outstanding in band!"

On to night club bands in So-Cal and playing with  Rosie and the Originals

(Angel Baby) and backing up Bobby Gentry( Ode to Billy Joe) with his band called S.O.U.P. at the Sahara in Vegas!

He studied music at Chaffey College and  vocals with many teachers including Roger Love and Elizabeth Sabine.

His ultimate goal is to inspire kids to love music and learn to play instruments. In progress are a series of Children's books  called " I Can Play" introducing each instrument and  a fun filled school program that he is writing in hopes of accomplishing this dream.
